Our Mission
The school’s primary purpose is to train young people to meet their fullest potential spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. The curriculum has been designed to meet that purpose by combining Christian Philosophy and educational requirements set forth by Virginia State Law.
Who We Are
Evangel Christian School is situated just twenty-five miles south of our nation’s capital. As a ministry of Evangel Baptist Church, the school was established in 1969 to offer an alternative to secular humanistic education for Christian families. Over the years, the school has experienced steady and stable growth. Initially starting with four kindergarten classes of 25 students each, Evangel has since expanded to include a comprehensive facility and faculty able to serve preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students, and accommodate over 300 students.
The primary mission of Evangel Christian School is to provide students with an exceptional education in academic subjects, framed within the context of God’s word.
